Catherine Donnelly
Integrative Psychotherapist and Counsellor (PG Dip, BSc Hons, MBACP)

About Me

I am a fully qualified Integrative Psychotherapist and Counsellor (PG Dip BSc Hons), based in East London. As a Member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP), I work within their Code of Ethics.

My approach incorporates insight, empathy and compassion, offering you the space and time to explore your thoughts and feelings and to express yourself freely. It is my belief that a safe, confidential and non-judgmental setting and a uniquely supportive, yet challenging relationship between therapist and client is essential in order for the therapeutic process to be beneficial and effective.

I have worked for the mental health charity SANE and as a psychotherapist at a mental health day centre in Bethnal Green and at a community centre in East Ham. I currently see clients in a number of private practice settings in East London.

I work with individuals and offer an open-ended timeframe, although we can also have an agreed set number of sessions. We usually have a review at session six, whereby we will determine how therapy is going and what further work we might do together. Sessions usually last 50 minutes.
